CQC Guide - Dominate Close-Range Fights

Building clearing, room fighting, hip fire vs ADS, and movement tricks for close-quarters combat.

Building Clearing Fundamentals

When entering a building, always pre-aim the most common camping spots: behind doors, in corners, and at the top of stairs. Use the lean function (Q/E) to check angles before committing your body to a doorway. Listen for footsteps to determine which floor the enemy is on before pushing.

Hip Fire vs ADS

At distances under 5m, hip fire is faster and often more accurate than ADS because you maintain full movement speed. Use hip fire with SMGs and shotguns in tight spaces. Switch to ADS at 10m+ for the tighter bullet spread. Practice the crossover point where ADS becomes more effective than hip fire for each weapon you use.
