Erangel Overview
Erangel is the original PUBG map (8x8 km) and the most balanced in terms of terrain variety. It features open fields, dense towns, coastal areas, and the Military Island connected by two bridges. The meta favors mid-range combat with ARs and DMRs, though snipers excel on the open terrain between compounds.
Key Locations
Military Base offers the best loot on the map but requires crossing the bridges (a notorious chokepoint). Georgopol's containers are high-density loot. Pochinki is the center-map PvP zone. Sosnovka Military Island is high reward but high risk due to the bridge bottleneck.
